A Hillsville teenager was killed in a car accident last night.
Officials say 15-year old Justin Goad was the passenger in a pickup traveling on route 757 in Carroll County just after 11.
Police say the driver - who has not been identified- ran off the road, hit a fence and the overturned the pickup several times.
Goad was pronounced dead at the scene.
No charges have been filed.

The reward for information in a Rockbridge County shooting is growing.
An anonymous donor has pledged more than ten-thousand dollars.
Investigators are trying to find out who shot and killed a turkey hunter last weekend.
44- year- old David Stack of Maryland was hunting between South Buffalo Road and Bluegrass Trail last Saturday when he was shot in the back.
The Virginia Chapter of the National Wild Turkey Federation is also chipping in a thousand dollars in reward money.

According to published reports, a Virginia woman may have been the first person to contract SARS in the United States.
The 71 year old Loudon County woman apparently came in contact with the virus while on trip to China.
She has fully recovered.
But five other people in Virginia are believed to be infected with the virus.

At least 180 people have died from SARS and more than 3-thousand people have been infected world wide.
Since most of the cases have been in Asia, Asian nations are looking for ways to stop the spread of this respiratory illness.

The opening of Liberty University's planned law school is being pushed back a year. The college, founded by Jerry Falwell, had planned to open the new school this fall, but has announced it will open in the fall of 2004. The school is interviewing potential faculty members and meeting with the American Bar Association about accreditation. However, Liberty can NOT promise prospective students that it will be ABA-accredited.

They attended town council and asked the town to help build a skate park.
