Fire officials say they are treating the incident as an industrial accident.

It happened around 1 o'clock this afternoon at the Maple Leaf Bakery on Blue Hills Drive. Fire officials say they received a call to rescue a 43 year old man who had fallen into a silo. Rescue crews recovered the body of the man around 4:20 this afternoon. The worker's name is not being released pending notification of the family. The cause of the incident is still under investigation, and OSHA officials are also looking into the incident.

State and local authorities are investigating a hunting accident in central Highland County that claimed the life a 65-year-old Colorado man. Police say Frank Johnson was turkey hunting with a group of people yesterday morning when the accident occurred. He was killed by a single gunshot wound. The state Department of Game and Inland Fisheries is investigating the incident, along with Highland County sheriff's officials and state police. Police say Johnson has family in the Highland County area, and that no charges have been filed.

An accident on Interstate 81 this evening sent several people to the hospital.

Police say this S-U-V was traveling southbound when it went off of the left side of the road near mile marker 121, and flipped over, coming to rest about 100 yards down the road. Police say there were 6 occupants in the car. One person was flown by helicopter to Roanoke Memorial Hospital, while other occupants were transported to Lewis Gale Medical Center, and the Montgomery County Regional Hospital. There is no word on their names or conditions, or on whether charges will be filed.

U-S soldiers in Iraq have reportedly uncovered 14 suspicious barrels in a weapons storage area. Preliminary tests reveal that at least one of the barrels contains nerve gas.

The 3 and- a- half mile course along West River Road pitted teams against nature as they slid down hills and stomped through water. There was also a tactical pistol shoot. The senate approved it a short time later.
The referendum removed ANY possibility of reviving the Saint Andrew's cross on the state flag, however, another version of a confederate national flag is used on the new one.
Next March, Georgia voters will choose between the flag approved last night... and the current flag approved two years ago that has a smaller battle emblem on it.

It's called yogic flying and it combines yoga with long jumps, high jumps and hurdles.
More than a dozen yogic flyers took part in a national competition in Iowa.

Two Virginia Cavaliers were selected tonight. Linebacker Angelo Crowell was picked up with the 94th overall pick in the third round by the Buffalo Bills. Crowell recorded 155 tackles as a senior, including 3 sacks.
One pick later, Crowell's teammate receiver Billy McMullen was tabbed by the Philadelphia Eagles. McMullen caught 68 passes for 868 yards and three TD's this past season.

Emory and Henry loaded the bases in the bottom of the fourth for Brook Barker. Barker belts the ball deep over centerfielder Jessica Worsham's glove. Three runners score and Barker ends up with a double and the Wasps led 3-nothing.

Still in the 4th, Sara Weeks lines one to short. Mary Thomas can't hang on and Barker scores for a 4-zip cushion.
