The water was knee-deep in the city market. Campbell Avenue looked like a river.

Four people in this mobile home park were injured when a possible tornado came through. Hail as big as tennis balls caused damaged to homes and vehicles in Knoxville. She also won acclaim for her solo album Press on in 2000.
June Carter Cash died after complications from heart surgery.

Authorities have not released details about how the suspects planned to carry out the attack, but published reports indicate the planned involved a rocket attack.

A big change in advice from the American Cancer Society when it comes to women and breast cancer.

The old recommendation had been for women to do a breast self exam every month.
But a spokeswoman says research found self exams don't contribute to breast cancer survival rates.
The Cancer society says women should receive clinical breast exams every three years until they're 40 and every year after that.

Hardwick's Hokies golf team is tied for 15th with Jacksonville State after one round of the NCAA East Regional at the Auburn University Club. Tech shot an opening round 302 and Brendon de Jonge is 24th individually. The top ten teams will advance to the finals after tomorrow's second round.
