It was a short day for Kerry Earnhardt, who looped his #12 machine right here and finished 35th.

Matt Kenseth, the Winston Cup points leader got past Busch on the final restart with 28 laps to go.
He then won the race under caution thanks to this spin by Greg Biffle with just four laps remaining.
For Kenseth it's his 2nd Busch win of the season.

Things may look gloomy for Virginia Tech where the Big East is concerned, but the Hokies are not alone in their disdain for ACC expansion. Faculty leaders at North Carolina are formally opposing the addition of the three Big East schools to the conference. Faculty council chairwoman Sue Estroff says the university presidents and faculy athletic representatives from the nine schools shouldn't have kept the expansion plans under wraps for months.
In any case, the battle for Virginia Tech's athletic future is one that Frank Beamer says has gotten personal.

Following a search the Giants defensive end was also charged with possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and consumption of alcohol in a motor vehicle. In 1999, he pleaded guilty to driving while under the influence of cocaine. Hamilton has played in the NFL for 12 seasons, but appeared in only 6 games this past year before suffering an achilles injury.
