On April first the Pentagon showed pictures of what it described as a daring and dangerous rescue of Lynch from a hospital in Nasiriyah. The video shows US Commandos breaking down doors and storming in with guns drawn and carrying Lynch away in the dead of night. A recent BBC report charges the Pentagon exagerated the danger...that there was no Iraqi resistance and hospital staffers tried to give commandos a key to get in. The Associated Press reports doctors were trying to turn Lynch over however those physcians admit they didn't notify the US troops.
