Officials think the fire at the Murphy oil refinery began in the system that breaks down crude oil into fuel.
Meanwhile, the other blaze appears to have come from pump failure.
Both fires are still under investigation.

Officials say vendors would be required to pay a five- hundred dollar rental fee, and would have to meet several other guidelines before the event is approved.

The ACC has scheduled a conference call today with all presidents.
The league needs seven of its nine member schools to vote in favor of the expansion for.
However the leadership at both Duke and the University of North Carolina is wavering.
And if the Heels and Blue Devils would vote no along with Virginia - the expansion is dead.
The reason for the turnaround is not so much the recent lawsuit.
Both UNC Chancellor James Moeser (MOSER) and Duke President Nan Keohane (KOE-HANN) say travel costs, divisional alignment and the welfare of the students are not being properly addressed.
President Keohane said in an e-mail obtained by the Associated Press that the move to vote for expansion was moving to rapidly.
She doesn't believe Duke has enough information and she is quoted as saying "Duke is not willing to buy a pig in a poke."
It is unlikely that the conference call today will result in any kind hog call - only more delays until the conference can formally respond to the lawsuit.
