Tara Savannah Sheets was last seen shortly after midnight Sunday walking her dog.
The dog returned, but Tara did not.
According to authorities, family members say the girl was very active on the internet, and may be with someone she met there.
Investigators say she may have been abducted or run away.
Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to call the Pulaski County Sheriff's Office.

The Supreme Court is expected to rule this week on affirmative action at colleges and universities, but one Virginia school is already scaling back its academic programs for minorities.
Virginia Tech has altered 16 race-conscious programs in the past few months.
It is also discontinuing a privately funded study abroad program for black students and forcing open a spot in the veterinary college previously reserved for blacks.
The moves were made on the advice of Attorney General Jerry Kilgore's office, which warned the university Board of Visitors last year that they could be personally liable if the school's policies were challenged in court.
