The Commonwealth's Attorney's office today released its findings regarding the April 14th shooting on Madison Avenue.

The investigation found Officer M.E. Thompson acted reasonably when he fired four shots at a car driven by Antonio Lee Taylor. Evidence shows Thompson fired his gun after Taylor attempted to drive away, hitting the officer with his car before hitting a house. Taylor survived a gunshot to the chest. He faces charges of assault on a police officer and cocaine possession.

It was her Camaro Collins was driving, though at first he tried to tell authorities SHE'd been driving. He also said a deer had run across the road. His lawyer snapped a photograph of the scene of the accident on Route 311, with a doe visible in the distance. Collins pled guilty today to involuntary manslaughter and released, having served eight months in jail. His driver's license will be revoked for one year.
