Shell was granted 50-thousand dollars bond and placed on house arrest today in Circuit Court. [INSERT PHOTOS] The 56-year-old is in jail on sexual charges, in connection with the death of 19-year-old Marion Franklin of North Carolina. [BACK TO VIDEO] Shell is accused of drugging Franklin, who was found dead in his studio June 3rd. Prosecutors say they are still waiting on an autopsy report before charging Shell with homicide.

A Martinsville man acquitted in a murder for hire scheme is in trouble with the law again.
Authorities say 18 year old Billy Ray Manns broke into an apartment at Sherwood Manor in Bassett around 9:30 last night.

He allegedly demanded money and then used a handgun to beat 42 year old Randall Gerringer.
Mann was located a short time later in another apartment and refused to come out
Henry County Sheriff's Deputies then broke down the door and arrested Manns.

He is the same person who was accused of shooting Lisa Nicole Muhammad in September of 2000.
His first trial ended in a mistrial.
A jury found him not guilty at his retrial in April.

This is the scene in Bonita Springs which is just south of Fort Myers on the West Coast of Florida.
A witness says the explosion shot flames and fireworks from the truck.
A sheriff's spokeswoman says workers were taking fireworks out of the truck when the whole truck exploded.

An employee turned on his co-workers with deadly results.
Police say the man walked into the Modine (Mo-deen) plant overnight and started shooting. Three workers are dead. Four others are wounded.
Police say the shots were not random but appeared to be aimed at specific people.
The 25 year old gunman then drove downtown where he was confronted by police. That's when the gunman took his own life.
It's still not clear what may have led to the violence.
