Grant took numerous out-of-town trips, racking up charges on the city's Diner's Club Card. Lynchburg Commonwealth's Attorney Bill Petty teamed up with U-S Attorney John Brownlee in a joint prosecution of Grant, after it turned out many of Grant's trips at taxpayer's expense were out of STATE.

But Tuesday mornings it is the "Reel Moms program." It actively encourages babies and toddlers to come to the movies. It's a rare chance for parents to watch new release movies without worrying about disturbing the rest of the audience.
Scores of strollers are checked at the door, and the small army of moms head for the baby-friendly theatre, armed with feeding bottles, rattles and diapers.
