Today, it will take a closer look at an accident that killed a Roanoke area teenager.

Jessika Lewis was one of 12 teens and two adults

aboard a 15 passenger church van two years ago, when it blew a tire and lost control near Greensboro North Carolina.
Later today, the National Transportation Safety Board will review this fatal accident, and one in Texas that killed four people riding in a similar van.
The board could use these accidents as springboards for proposing or enacting new regulations for such vans.

Yesterday, officials searched with no luck finding a missing fisherman.
Rockbridge County Sheriff's officials say two brothers were standing in the water fishing when the water rose. One fisherman looked back and saw the other was gone.
The brothers are in their seventies and are from Buena Vista.

Health officials say a dead crow found east of Bassett has tested positive for West Nile Virus.
It's the first case of the mosquito-borne illness in the West Piedmont Health District this year.
Experts fear an increase in West Nile cases this year because of the wet weather.
They suggest eliminating mosquito breeding areas around your home and protecting yourself from mosquito bites.

David Darrell Rice's federal trial was supposed to begin next month.
He's accused of killing two female hikers in the Shenandoah National Park seven years ago.
Rice's attorneys asked for the delay, saying they have NOT had enough time to review the thousands of government documents pertaining to the 1996 attacks.
No new trial date has been set.
Rice could face the death penalty if convicted.
