(( TRACK )) The Confederate Army was strong, and gaining momentum, heading into Gettysburg-- the battle that turned the tide of the Civil War. At a key moment, this Confederate battle flag, carried by

now that the war's long since over, a group of Virginians says

the United States Army has gotten in the middle. It wants Minnesota to

turn the flag over to a museum it's building so the whole country can share in its story. Here in Virginia, they say that's a great idea.
But Minnesota's governor says-- if you want the flag, come and get it."

not only the nation's history, but obviously Minnesota's history and

heritage. We believe it's rightfully ours, and we're not giving it back." ((TRACK)) But Virginians argue it's the right thing to do.
