The bombs went off as Russian President Vladimir Putin was set to chair a meeting nearly 300 miles from where the explosion occurred.
Russia's been rocked recently by bombings and other attacks the government usually blames on Chechen rebels.

He told a judge yesterday morning that he's going to hire a lawyer to represent him and wouldn't talk to investigators.
Goins is charged with first degree murder in the shooting death of his cousin.
He may also face charges for allegedly trying to attack an officer who was driving him from North Carolina to Fincastle.

Yesterday, we learned that investigators in Roanoke also want to talk to Goins about a fire in the city.
They say Goins was painting a historic house that burned down on Cornwallis Avenue in South Roanoke in July.

(BUSTAMANTE) It could be warmer.

because of the rolling blackouts, the budget deficit, the dismal state of the economy. Your are part of the davis administration, in fact the number two guy. Don't you bear some responsibiltiy?

(SOT BUSTAMANTE )There were a lot of student protest groups during the

everybody's going to have to do a little bit more. (HATTIE) you're talking about higher taxes?
(SOT BUSTAMANTE 103653) Yes, that does include additional taxes.

(TRACK) REMEMBER THE BUSH TAX CUT? BUSTAMANTE WOULD HAVE SOME

CALIFORNIANS HAND OVER THEIR FEDERAL TAX SAVINGS TO THE SAVE THE STATE ECONOMY.

It's known as 2003 Q-Q-47.
The asteroid is about two- thirds of a mile wide-- a chunk of what was left over when the solar system was formed four and a half- billion years ago.
Astronomers say there's no need to be alarmed.
There's only about a one in a million chance that the asteroid could ever reach earth, and that wouldn't happen for another 12 years.
Still, they say they'll probably know its future orbit within the next month, with such an accuracy that they can rule out any impact.
