A teenager suffered head and chest injuries after being struck on a bike in Martinsville this afternoon.
Police say 13- year old Tremayne Terry was riding a bicycle on A Street, did not stop at an intersection, and was hit by a pickup truck
Terry was transported to Memorial Hospital in Martinsville, and transferred to Baptist Hospital in Winston-Salem.
Right now, police are not releasing his condition.

Kate Obenshain Griffin was elected on a unanimous voice vote after her rival for the seat withdrew his name from consideration.
The 34- year old is a housewife and longtime party activist.

Police estimate there are 500 to one- thousand mopeds in the city.
