It's back to school for hundreds of Grayson County students today.

[VO-NAT]
[SUPER=03-Grayson Co./File Tape;]

Officials say school WILL begin today, nearly a month later than usual. The late opening stems from problems at Fries (Freeze) Middle School, which will remain closed this Fall because of mold. Mobile classroom units have been set up at two nearby middle schools to accommodate the students, but the work took longer than expected because of rain. At the time, Mount Rogers was the only school in the county that was open. Officials say they hope to remove the mold and reopen Fries by mid to late January.
