Secretary of State Colin Powell plans to visit Iraq during his trip overseas.

Powell will meet with Iraqis and members of the U-S led Coalition Provisional Authority.
Right now, he's wrapping up a meeting in Geneva with the French foreign minister to try and smooth out divisions over the future of Iraq.
A date has not been released on when Powell will travel to Iraq. But this will be his first trip to the country.

A powerful typhoon that hit South Korea Friday night has killed more than 40 people.

And officials say dozens of people are still missing. The storm left a path of destruction with wind gusts up to 135 miles-per-hour and nearly 18 inches of rain. South Korea is often hit by typhoons this time of year. Last September a typhoon killed more than a hundred people.
This typhoon has since weakened to a tropical storm.
