State officials say structural damage from Isabel will cost Virginia at least 625 million dollars to fix.
That figure is the first formal statewide storm damage estimate.
But officials warn it is likely to increase substantially.
The extensive damage from Isabel is also causing delays for Dominion Power.
Its crews are working around the clock to restore electricity to the 400-thousand Virginians still in the dark.

Huge sections of highway twelve are several damaged there from Isabel and One section of the highway leading to Hatteras Village is no longer there.
Much of the coastline is damaged- and there are still some residents who don't have power or phone service.

Authorities say Franklin County's biggest drug dealers are behind bars tonight.

They arrested about 50 people on distribution charges in a sweep yesterday.
Today, they unsealed federal indictments accusing 10 of running a major drug-dealing operation that brought cocaine from Florida into Franklin County.
They allege that Gerald Randolph Smith was the kingpin, and that Euell Clifton Chitwood and Terry Ivan Smith were his lieutenants.
Both Smiths served prison time for dealing cocaine in the 80s.

A man from Eastern Virginia has become the state's first victim of Eastern Equine Encephalitis.
The Gloucster County man in his 70's contracted the mosquito-born illness in August and died last week.

Authorities say the Milbrandt's fooled people into donating an estimated 31 thousand dollars.
Teresa apologized in court- She was sentenced to six and half years in prison for endangering children and grand theft.
The father received a four year, eleven month sentence for endangering children.

Authorities still don't know who shot and killed 51-year-old Richard Anthony Palmer of Riner.

The Montgomery County school bus driver was found dead in his pickup truck in Roanoke back in April.
His dog was also killed.
Palmer's family and church are now offering a cash reward for information about the killing.
They say they do not want to reveal the amount.

Clemson athletic director Terry Don Phillips - in the orange shirt - was part of the site visit team that toured Tech back on June 25th and he says he's heard informally from the NCAA that it is not willing to allow any league with under 12 teams to hold a lucrative playoff game.

ACC Commissioner John Swofford petitioned the NCAA to amend its current rule back in July to allow teams with 10 or 11 to hold such games. The NCAA's competition committee isn't expected to formally vote on this until next April, but Phillips says it appears that the only way for the ACC to get a championship game is to find a 12th member.

There is great news tonight for Roanoke Valley hockey baron Henry Brabham. The man who single-handedly kept hockey alive on several occasions here in the valley - is glad to have his own life in tact. Brabham had surgery to remove the benign tumor at Duke University Medical Center last Thursday, and his son Hank says Doctors were able to get almost all of the mass, and that they feel Brabham's prognosis for recovery is very good. In fact, he already has returned to work. Besides owning the Virginia Lancers and Roanoke Valley Rebels, Brabham who is now 74, is still very active in his family business - Brabham Petroleum.
