The swine races are a popular event at the Virginia State Fair.
As is the petting zoo and the rides.
But this year, you are likely to find just as many people at the new FEMA booth as at the new West Texas Rattlesnake Show.
Isabel may have closed down parts of the state, but the fair opened as scheduled.
And is drawing large crowds, because children in the area don't have school and their parents don't have power.
