Kay Bee Toys held a job fair today at its Blairs fulfillment center in hopes of hiring more than a thousand people to meet the demands of the holiday season.
Hundreds formed lines an hour before the company opened its doors in hopes of getting a job.

Four people are dead in Minnesota after their car was hit by a train at a railroad crossing.

The crash happened near Minneapolis last night.
Authorities say the driver swerved around a railroad crossing barrier despite warning lights indicating an approaching train.
The crew tried to apply the emergency brakes when it saw the car, but could NOT stop in time.
All four victims were pronounced dead at the scene.

The Boston Globe says the office phone number of U-S District Judge Edward Nottingham in Denver was added to the registry in July.
The list is designed to block telemarketers' calls.
It's not clear whether Nottingham himself registered the number or knew it had been registered.
Nottingham has stopped the Federal Trade Commission from implementing the registry, ruling it is an unconstitutional infringement on free speech.

He was 78.

Oakes lettered at Tech from 1958-60, and then played in the NFL for eight seasons - earning Pro Bowl honors.
