[SUPER=03-Rome, Italy;]
Most of the country's 58-million people were affected by the blackout, but power is slowly coming back on.
Many Romans were left stranded in bus and subway stations.
Italy has ruled out terrorism -- but not France -- as the possible cause of the outage.
France supplies electricity to Italy -- and Italian officials say the breakdown may have originated there.
The French power company says it's not responsible.
