It will now take feedback through January 10th.

A-E-P is already enforcing it, but FERC has the power to approve, overturn or change it.

Troopers say a Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme abruptly crossed every lane of Route 221 and hit a Mazda pickup head on. Kenneth Bernard Wright, the elderly driver of the pick up, was airlifted to U-V-A medical center. 56 year old Judy Hensley Forest of Lynchburg is in critical condition at Lynchburg General -- her daughter and grandson are in serious condition.

Sheriff Mike Brown has won the national "Wired Cops" award from a non-profit Internet safety agency.
Brown's department has been a leader in cracking down on child pornography and on-line pedophiles through its "Operation Blue Ridge Thunder" task force.
The group "Wired Safety" will present Brown with the award in Washington D.C. on Wednesday.
Previous winners include the F-B-I, the Secret Service and the U-S Customs service.

Henry County and Martinsville authorities tonight are tracking down 126 people accused of dealing and possessing illegal drugs.

The investigation again targeted the community of Sandy Level, which drew national attention for its drug problems several years ago.
12 people from Sandy Level face FEDERAL charges.
Authorities say the arrests mainly targeted street-level dealers and that the majority of offenses involved crack and powder cocaine.

The team opened practice yesterday and this afternoon the Express announced that four key players have formally agreed to return to the team this season. Rick Kowalsky, Duncan Dalmao, Dan Carlson and Tim O'Connell have officially signed contracts for the upcoming season.

Kowalsky, who is now 31, has 165 points in his first two seasons in Roanoke.
