19 year old Billy Ray Manns was charged with conspiracy to commit capital murder in connection with the shooting death of Lisa Nicole Thomas in September of 2000.
His first trial ended in a hung jury.
Another jury found Manns NOT GUILTY at the retrial in April.
Now seven months later, a grand jury has indicted Manns with conspiracy to commit murder which could result in a prison term of five to twenty years.
Investigators obtained new information in July when Manns was arrested for breaking and entering in a separate incident in Henry County.

Jennifer Short's remains were exhumed and reburied more than a week ago.
Investigators in the Short family murders say they needed to conduct further forensic analysis on the remains -- but won't say why.
They got a court order to dig them up September 30th.
Investigators took Jennifer's remains to the crime lab in Roanoke and returned them to the family's burial plot the following day.
Short family relatives gave their consent to have them exhumed.
Investigators say it was just a necessary step in their ongoing investigation, but wouldn't elaborate.

Knox played "good cop, bad cop" with patients, leaving it up to the staff to account for narcotics, hoping patients would still confide in him.
