C-B-S Sportsline is reporting that the A-C-C schools are prepared to vote 7-to-2 to invite Boston College to join the conference. A-C-C presidents are expected to hold a conference call on Sunday to make the official vote. If invited, sources say Boston College would say yes. That's an answer that would be easier to make now that a Connecticut Superior Court judge has dropped the ACC as a defendant in a lawsuit filed by Big East schools. Miami remains a defendant, charged with conspiring with the ACC to damage the Big East.
