Roanoke County Police say a woman driving on the Parkway between 7:30 and 8 this morning saw a man running on the Roanoke River Bridge. As she passed him he climbed over the railing, turned his back towards the Niagra Dam and squatted down. Police estimate it's about a 200-foot drop from the bridge to the river. Nobody actually saw the man fall but police found a suicide note, wallet and cell phone nearby. They have yet to release his identity or find his body.
