Yesterday, the city revealed that a metal barrel found on October 7th did contain hazardous materials.
Representatives of the Department of Environmental Quality say they are satisfied with the city's response, and believe the latest discovery was not surprizing.

Roanoke city police have completed an investigation of an assault charge against a teacher who leapt to his death last week.
A news release says police first began looking into the accusation against Ronald Mayfield about ten days ago.
The student said the assault at Woodrow Wilson Middle School had taken place in late September.
Police say their detective spoke with the student and his family and they said they did not want to pursue the case.
The detective then talked to Mayfield, who put him off until later and said further contact would have to go through an attorney. Police said they determined last Wednesday no charges would be filed.
The next day, Mayfield leaped into the Roanoke River from a Blue Ridge Parkway bridge.
Mayfield had not been told he would not face charges.
Mayfield's family has sent a letter to the school administration, asking why he was never told he would not face charges.

Sabotage of pipelines and other infras-tructure is an ongoing problem for the U-S- run coalition and its Iraqi partners, as they try to revive the country's petroleum industry.
