Muhammad is on trial for the murder of Dean Meyers at a Manassas gas station-
On the stand today- the man who sold Muhammad the car police believe was used in the attacks.
Chris Okupski (Oh-Cupski) says the 1990 Chevy did NOT have an opening cut in the rear when it was sold.
When Muhammad and alleged accomplice Lee Malvo were arrested - the car had a hole in the trunk and a platform inside.
Police believe the men would lay in the back and fire at their targets through the opening.
Okupski also said Muhammad laid down in the trunk before buying the car.
His defense attorney says it's not unusual for consumers to inspect the trunk before buying a car.
