[SUPER=03-Van Nuys, CA;]

It happened outside a Van Nuys courthouse- when a man walks up to an attorney and starts shooting.
The gunman apparently said you took my money and that's what you get- then pulled the gun out of his waistband and shot the man repeatedly.
The gunman then walked away and a few seconds later bystanders tackled him.
It just so happened many camera crews were there because a hearing for actor Robert Blake was going on inside the courthouse.
In that a judge dismissed charges of conspiracy against Blake's former handyman.
Blake is still facing charges of killing his wife.
Police say they don't believe the shooting today is in any way related to the Blake case.
The victim is in stable condition with several gunshot wounds to his upper body.

The judge says he wasn't asking for a plea today - and told the defendant to enter his plea later. The trial is set for May 24th.
Odighizuwa is accused of killing three people at the Appalachian College of Law after learning he had flunked out.
He has been diagnosed as a paranoid schizophrenic and was found incompetent to stand trial.
However a state psychologist says Odighizuwa has improved enough to stand trial.
