Radford's Police Chief and two police officers have been indicted on misdemeanor charges following a state police investigation.
Chief Wesley Terry is charged with petit (petty) larceny, malfeasance in office and three counts of obtaining criminal history information under a false pretense.
Officers Peter Rutzinski and Christopher Caldwell were each indicted for a single offense of malfeasance in office.
According to a news release from special prosecutor Fred King, the indictments allege that the three officers conducted a search without a proper warrant, and that chief Terry took a knife and sheath from the residence.
