Investigators believe Rumley shot 28-year old Fredriquez (Fred-reek-ezz) Monzale Finney several times Monday, then took his Ford Expedition SUV.

A new lead took prosecutor Cliff Hapgood and investigators back to a field in Glade Hill today where they believe Lori Boyd was killed.
The search was sparked by a letter prosecutors received Monday.
The field is where some of Boyd's belongings -- and signs of a struggle -- were found last October.

Christopher Picard lives nearby -- and says he just came across the items and touched them.
The 23-year-old, on trial yesterday for capital murder, was released after prosecutors announced they had new evidence to pursue.

James River's Angela Tincher inked her letter of intent to play for the Virginia Tech Hokies next season.
The senior fireballer led the Knights to a state title last year with a record of 23 and 1, striking out 225 batters.
She becomes the first ever player from James River to sign a Division One scholarship.

Hartman has verbally committed to play college soccer at the University of Richmond. The center midfielder will accept a 75 percent scholarship to play for the Spiders. Hartman's older brother John is playing at UVa where he is a junior.

((In nine games Woods has 12 touchdown passes and is averaging about 195 yards per contest, second in the ODAC. But even the well prepared Radford Bobcats Norm Lineburg product has struggled with college football. ((:))

Their friendship has grown and Woods has been forced to grow up quickly. The Salem V-A now has its own MRI.

That means veterans will no longer have to travel to other hospitals for an MRI.
Doctors say it will mean quicker test results and faster treatment.
The MRI is available five days a week. While the service is free for veterans, this technology cost the VA more than 3 million dollars. (------------)
