Good morning, I'm Kimberly McBroom......
In Giles County, the New River rose several feet this morning,
But it now looks like the town of Narrows may have escaped a second round of major flooding.
It was a different story last night, when more than half a dozen people had to be rescued by boat.
Meanwhile, we'll have a chance to dry out over the next few days, as sunshine re- enters the forecast.
Meteorologist Leo Hirsbrunner has details up next... but first..
