You may remember Tessa Milliner, she is the Roanoke girl who slid down an embankement along the Roanoke River last May.
Doctors gave her very little chance of surviving but she did.

The fact that Tessa Milliner can play video games these days is pretty amazing when you consider her life lately has been anything but fun and games.

It hasn't always been this way.
Last May, Tessa was hiking with her mother along the Roanoke River when she leaned over to look at something and the ground gave way.
She fell 30-feet and suffered severe head injuries.

Tessa beat the odds.
After spending several days in a coma, and undergoing two surgeries Tessa began showing progress.
She left the hospital a month later and was even well enough to return to school this fall.
Then in October, doctors inserted a plate in her head to repair bone damage.

Her long term prognosis is uncertain.

After a year of negotiations and debate, the Reverend Jerry Falwell has moved a step closer to taking over the former Ericsson building in Lynchburg.

City planners had concerns over traffic and how Falwell was going to use the excess space in the building.

She says she had a drink at a club with Justin and then woke up naked the next morning on a bed at the Real World San Diego house.
She tells police she believes she was sexually assaulted.
Police have searched the property and are interviewing Real World Cast members, crew and witnesses.
Detectives are also reviewing videotape shot by real world cameras.
The production company says it's cooperating fully with police and claims no cast members were involved in the incident.

27- year old Zeek Garnett and his sister, 24- year old Karen Garnett accidentally threw away an Illinois lottery ticket they bought October fourth. But, after hearing that a winning ticket had been sold in the area, their mother retrieved the ticket from the trash.
It turned out to be a winner, worth ten and a half million dollars.
Thanks to the garbage strike, the trash bag containing the Garnett's winning ticket was still waiting to be picked up.
Their first order of business as millionaires will be a trip to Hawaii.
