The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety checked nine S-U-V's in five-mile-an hour bumper tests.

The Kia Sorento topped the list with more than 65-hundred dollars in repairs.
Right behind that came the Cadillac S-R-X with nearly the same amount of damage.
Those S-U-V's were rated poor along with the Toyota 4-Runner, the Chrysler Pacifica, and the Infinity F-X.
The Nissan Murano and Lexus R-X-330 earned marginal ratings.
Only the Honda Pilot got an acceptable rating but even that vehicle racked up more than 15-hundred dollars in repairs.

((Ironically, the last time Tech ventured into Scott Stadium, it was the Wahoos who were sacked by the Hokies and a quarterback controversy. Matt Schaub got the job when Bryson Spinner transferred to Richmond. While Randall has been named the outright starter for Saturday, Marcus Vick might play and Schaub can relate to a two headed quarterback.

In his two seasons as the starter, Schaub has set at least 20 UVa game, season and career records. Over at 23 game span, Schaub has connected on 43 touchdown passes and thrown for 5, 242 yards. A great career his coach says will continue in the NFL.

Schaub recently taped an article on Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Brad Johnson to his locker. The two worked a football camp together and played golf over the summer.

And finally, Marshall wrapped up an 8-and-4 season yesterday and half time the school renamed its stadium to honor Joan C. Edwards.
Joan C. Edwards is the only division one stadium in the nation named after a woman.
Some folks asked, "Why a woman?"
In the past decade this woman has given the school $50 million dollars.

76-year old Prahlad Jani says the last time had food or water was when he was 10-years-old.
Since then he's survived on Yoga, the Indian system of spiritual and physical exercise.
A panel of doctors has confirmed the claim but say they are unable to explain the phenomena.
Jani's been undergoing tests for the past couple weeks.
He is a devout follower of the Hindu goddess of destruction and attributes his ability to the blessings of his diety.
Although he has thousands of followers, Jani has not claimed to posess any miraculous powers.
