Good Afternoon, I'm Kimberly McBroom.
The terror alert level in the U-S is a notch
higher.
It's been raised to Code Orange, the SECOND highest level.
But the head of Homeland Security, Tom Ridge, says
Americans can send a message to terrorists by just going about
their normal business.
That includes holiday travel.
For example, New York is bustling with tourists and holiday shoppers, despite the increased police presence on the streets.
Drew Levinson is in Times Square this afternoon and joins us now with more.

It happened around 2-thirty yesterday afternoon on Route 57 west of Martinsville, killing 21-year-old Telisa Ann Hunt of Henry.
State police say her car hit a Freedom Baptist Church bus travelling in the opposite direction.
The bus then hit the guardrail, rolled over, and went down a 67-foot embankment before coming to rest.
Eight people in the bus were injured, including the driver, 57 year old John Wasoski of Bassett.
He is listed in critical condition.
Police say he did all he could to avoid the accident.

Officials say the man was not hurt in the blaze.
