The request comes from Homeland Security director Tom Ridge- and it comes just days after several U-S bound flights were grounded after terror concerns last week.
Ridge says it is not just Paris government officials but also officials in the U-K and Mexico who have been cooperating after similar concerns came up.

Sixth District Congressman Bob Goodlatte says he believes the U-S Department of Agriculture has done a good job responding to the discovery of mad cow disease in the United States.
Today, the Chairman of the House Agriculture Committee said he remains convinced that the meat supply in this country is very safe.

A huge fire tonight at a recycling plant in Ohio.

These are the pictures coming out of Garfield Heights, Ohio, about ten miles southeast of Cleveland.
The blaze at Garfield Alloys is sending thick gray soke into the air.
So far no word on any injuries- officials are monitoring the air for toxic fumes.
The plant recycles magnesium products.
Magnesium chemically reacts with water to cause explosions- and rain is making it tough to fight the fire.

More rain could spell more trouble for workers trying to find victims of California mudslides.

Authorities are warning up to four inches of rain are expected by tomorrow night. Officials are advising people to leave if they fear more mudslides and NOT to wait for authorities to tell them to leave.
So far rescue crews have recovered 14 bodies, mostly children and two are still missing- a teenage boy and a baby.

The tax man's coming and the cars are going in Montgomery County.

Shelor Automotive has already begun moving its cars to other counties to avoid paying the Merchant's Tax.
This is the 6th year the dealership has openly avoided the tax on inventory. The move comes despite the fact the county actually lowered the tax this year. Shelor's owner says the tax is still way to high.

For the first time, the county is also going to access the inventory twice a year. Shelor says it is to increase the cost he pays to move his cars.
County officials were unavailable for comment today but have said in the past... "the tax is not a shot at Shelor, but a fair compromise for all businesses, big and small."
Shelor says he will probably move his cars again in August, but he's hoping for a better solution to the problem before that happens.
