A 10 year old boy was killed in Halifax County Sunday when the tractor he was driving flipped on him.
State Police say the boy, whose name is not being released, was helping his father pull pine logs on an antique tractor when he asked if he could drive.
One log apparently caught on something, causing the front end of the tractor to come up.
It rolled over and killed the boy instantly.
Officials say the model of the tractor was discontinued in the 1960's, and was not equipped with modern safety features.
