A small Halifax County church overflowed today with people wishing to pay their last respects to five- year- old DeAndre Barksdale.
As Jennifer Wishon reports, friends of the family are trying to focus on the good that came from the little boy's death.

Barksdale wandered away from his grandparent's Halifax County home last Tuesday.
Searchers found his body on Thursday about a mile and a half away.
More than 150 volunteers took time away from their holiday to search for the little boy.
And a friend of the Barksdale family says that's something to get excited about.

One woman was killed in a single vehicle accident around 10-thirty last night in Floyd County.
State Police say 19 year old Jessica Joyce Cupp was killed on Route 221 when the car she was in ran off the left side of the road, and overturned. Cupp was pronounced dead at the scene, and was not wearing her seatbelt.
According to authorities, an unidentified man, believed to be Cupp's boyfriend, fled the scene.
Police have found the man, and are trying to determine exactly who was driving the car.
Charges are pending.

Peyton Manning wasted no time in getting the Colts on the board, going 31 yards to Brandon Stokely just three minutes in and it was 7-nothing Indy.
Then late in the first quarter, Manning hit his favorite target Marvin Harrison who goes down, but three Broncos let him get back up untouched and walk in to the endzone and the rout was on.
Manning finished the day with 377 yards thru the air and 5 touchdown passes. Indianapolis won it big

The BCS is contemplating changes to its system next year which would include throwing out the computer component. That way there would be little chance of a split national champ. Tonight the Sugar Bowl staged the BCS title game as LSU tackled Oklahoma. Right now, the Tigers lead the Sooners 21 to 14 in the fourth quarter.

Norman Keith spends most of his time making these hand-made clocks that can only be described as works of art.
So far he has made four complete clocks, and he usually puts in at least 500 hours per project.
Keith says the hardest part is not sawing the intricate wood designs, but staying focused.
