Artis and other members of the Southern Christian Leadership Conference in Roanoke are already boycotting some of the businesses that are connected to the proposed clinic and they have made promises to take photos of the clinic's patients and post them on the Internet if the clinic doesn't back out.

Today, a spokesperson for the C-R-C released a statement saying that they remain focused on the goal of providing a medical service to the community as quickly as possible.

Sharpshooters have killed nearly 50 deer inside the Roanoke City limits since October.
That's when the city began it's deer control program.

City sharpshooters have only gone on the hunt 19 times, but report seeing large numbers of deer each night.
City officials say an uncontrolled deer population can result in disease, damage to landscaping and numerous car accidents.

Republican Delegate Jack Reid pre-filed a bill today that would outlaw camps such as the one at Whitetail Park, a nudist resort in Southeastern Virginia.
Whitetail held a weeklong summer nudist camp for 11 to 18 year olds last summer.
It was the first of its kind in Virginia and only the third "au naturel camp" for kids in the nation.
Such gatherings are legal in Virginia, even for children, as long as lewd activity is not involved.
Whitetail officials say strict bans on sexual or (la-SIVE-ious) lascivious conduct at the camp are enforced.

A Norfolk Southern train derails in Pennsylvania and lands in a river.

13 of the train's cars went off the tracks and ended in up in the water.
The engine was partially submerged, but the train's two man crew was able to get out with only minor injuries.
Three thousand gallons of diesel fuel spilled from the train into the water- clean up crews have quite a job on their on their hands using booms to stop the fuel from spreading.

Tug McGraw, the zany relief pitcher who coined the phrase "You Gotta Believe" with the New York Mets and later closed out the Philadelphia Phillies' only World Series championship, died tonight at the age of 59.
McGraw died of brain cancer at the home of his son, country music star Tim McGraw. He had been battling the disease since March when he underwent surgery for a malignant tumor.
McGraw's personality often overshadowed his talent. But in 26 postseason games in his 19-year career he had a 2.23 ERA and was 3-3 with eight saves.

McGraw had several local ties. In 1993, he served as the guest speaker at the Salem-Roanoke Valley baseball hall of fame Hot Stove banquet and as you may have noticed on some of that video he was a teammate of Roanoker Al Holland.

The next step is for scientists to tell the rover to lower its wheels.
That process will take several days.
Once the wheels are down, Spirit will roam wherever Scientists direct it.
In a few weeks Spirit will be joined by its twin rover, Opportunity.
The second rover was sent in case Spirit failed, but so far its been a picture perfect journey.
