The news of new jobs is making it a bit of a brighter day in Henry County.

State and county leaders made the announcement yesterday afternoon at the administration building.
MasterBrand Cabinets plans to open in the Patriot Center Industrial Park and create 745 jobs in the next seven years.

The exemption is based upon the number of snow days a school system takes. Griffith says Salem has not had enough.
