Amherst County authorities are looking into a shooting that killed one person. Sheriff's deputies say the body of a 23 year old New York man was found yesterday. He had been shot several times in the torso. The man's name has not been released. Residents told authorities they heard something that sounded like gunshots in the area on Friday night. Anyone with information on the shooting is asked to call the Amherst County Sheriff's Office.

At least one prison guard has been injured when inmates at an Arizona prison took TWO guards hostage.

The standoff started in the early morning hours when a Lewis Prison inmate overpowered a guard during breakfast. That inmate met up with another in the prison yard and gained access to the officer's tower. Two other guards were hurt during a scuffle, and one of those being held hostage has been injured. Lewis Prison is a medium to high security complex that houses four thousand inmates. All the other prisoners are in lock down.

Today's protest is the biggest to date againt Aristide, who is struggling to hold on to power as more and more Haitians call for his removal.

They're called "The Men of the Long Tom Range" and they're a bunch of ordinary gentlemen who decided to pose nude in calendar, to help raise money for local schools. One of the men's wives actually came up with the idea last Spring.
