Arrington beat incumbent Tony Ware last fall by 12 votes. But a three-judge panel overturned the results of that election, because of voting errors in one Forest precinct. Arrington was going to apply for the interim vacancy, however the board appointed Ware Monday night without considering any other candidates. Arrington says he was surprised and disappointed by the move. He expects to decide by this weekend whether to run in the special election in November.
