Good Morning Kimberly, Even if you're not headed to work this today, you still have a lot of work to do in the New River Valley. The snow is pretty heavy and deep. It'll take you a while to scrap your car. off.

As for the roads... Let's take a look at some of the main Interstates in the New River Valley....
I-81 is in pretty good condition All four lanes appear to be clear, V-DOT still asks that you drive a little below the posted speed limit. Also, be careful on the exit and entrance ramps those are still pretty icy.
The 460 bypass around Blacksburg is a little worse then 81. There are still a lot of icy patches and places where the snow is packed down.
Side streets are even worse. I could only go about 15 miles an hour down Price's Fork Road this morning in Blacksburg and my car was still sliding around. Side roads are still packed down with snow and ice.

I-77 is said to be very foggy right now in the Fancy Gap area near the North Carolina State line.
And there's an accident on Interstate 81 in Wytheville at mile marker 76. Both right lanes are closed. The left lanes are still open.
