Good Evening. I'm Jean Jadhon.

(( Similar threats surfaced just before the holidays... and were a primary reason the Department of Homeland Security raised the nation's terror threat level to Orange...on December 21st. At least six foreign flights from Paris, London, and Mexico City were cancelled and a dozen others were delayed from Christmas Eve through the first week of January. Then the level of alarm subsided...and the threat level was lowered. Now, US security officials say the threat has re-emerged and authorities have been meeting throughout the day to consider increased security measures...including additional air marshals, military escorts of inbound jets, and even possible flight cancellations. ORR LIVE CLOSE: At the same time...officials with the Department of Homeland Security say they have NO plans...at this time... to raise the terror threat level again. But, the level of concern IS rising...and aviation again appears to top the worry list. ))

A Campbell County man who raped a ten year old girl will stay locked up, even though he's served his sentence.
Today a Campbell County judge approved the civil committment of 48 year old Lorenzo Townes.
Last year, the General Assembly passed the Sexually Violent Predators Act, which allows for the civil commitment of offenders who are judged to be continuing threats to the community.
Attorney General Jerry Kilgore says Townes fits that description. In addition to the 1973 rape in Altavista, he's been cited for over 30 disciplinary infractions while in prison.

[SUPER=03-Buffalo, NY;]
Troops will be able to see the game, and because of an idea from Buffalo's mayor, they'll eat the most common of all Super Bowl snack foods -- Buffalo chicken wings.
Three Buffalo businesses donated 15-hundred wings. They'll be shipped in dry ice, and flown to Iraq in time for western New York reservists to chow down during the Super Bowl.
