Last night, Continental Airlines canceled a flight from Washington to Houston because it couldn't get clearance from Homeland Security. The plane was to have landed at an airport 27 miles from Reliant Stadium, but again, authorities say it had nothing to do with the game.
The cancellation followed an announcement Saturday that six
international flights scheduled for yesterday and today were
scratched because of security worries.

President Bush will sign an executive order to open an investigation into U-S intelligence failures in Iraq.
However, the findings of the investigation won't likely be known until after the Presidential election in November.

Meanwhile, Bush is sending Congress a two-point-four trillion dollar budget today.
His spending plan mirrors the theme of his re-election bid-- more money to fight terrorism, improve homeland security, and make tax cuts permanent.

Amherst County authorities have arrested a New York man in connection with a murder last month.
26-year-old Jermel Lawrence Storey was pulled over by Lynchburg Police around two o-clock yesterday morning.
He was later arrested after officers learned he was wanted for questioning in the January 16th murder of Phillip James near Madison Heights.
Storey faces first degree murder charges, and firearms charges.
He's being held in the Amherst County Jail without bond.
Authorities say the investigation is continuing and there could be more arrests.

Henry County authorities have made an arrest in a 10-year-old murder.
Brian Douglas Kidd was last seen in August of 1993 at a home on Richardson Drive near Collinsville.
Authorities say Kidd was shot outside his residence and his body was taken to a wooded area.
Yesterday, 38 year old Robert Wayne Reynolds of Fieldale contacted authorities in reference to the disappearance, and was charged with second degree murder.
Reynolds is being held in the Henry County Jail without bond.

In business news, One of the hottest Super Bowl foods appears to be buffalo wings.

At Coach B's in Salem, the restaurant sold more than one-thousand buffalo wings by halftime.
In fact, the restaurant ordered more wings for the big game, and will have to order more for the rest of the week.
Robert Brown of Coach B's says that many folks decided to watch the game at home, and that most people who ordered food opted to pick it up themselves instead of having it delivered.
