Ohio State running back Maurice Clarett has been given clearance to enter the NFL Draft by a federal judge.

The judge ruled that the league's rules prohibiting a player from entering the draft without being out of high school for three years, violate anti-trust laws. No other player has challenge the rule which was put in place in 1990, because the NFL's coaches and executives think that younger players are not ready for the pros. The NFL has promised to appeal the ruling.
