Today an assault charge against the Inglewood officer was dismissed after two trials ended in hung juries, but this case is not over yet.
The Justice Department now says it will review the case-

The latest News7 - Mason Dixon poll shows the Massachusetts lawmaker would win 34-percent of the vote if the Democratic primary were held today.
Of the more than six hundred likely voters questioned, 25-percent back Senator John Edwards, 14-percent, retired General Wesley Clark.
Eight percent of Democrats say they would vote for Howard Dean. Five percent favored Al Sharpton and one percent would support Dennis Kucinich.

A champion snowboarder is expected to be released today from a hospital in New York -- a day after falling 25 feet off a ramp while performing a stunt for David Letterman's T-V show.
Tara Dakides had already made two successful jumps on a ramp that was set up on the street outside the Ed Sullivan Theater.
She fell off the ramp during her third attempt.
She was stitched up at the hospital -- where she got a visit from Letterman.
Letterman's producer says he hopes she'll recover soon and be back on the Letterman show.
