Last night's icy conditions contributed to a fatal accident in Wythe County.
Authorities say 51- year- old George Hoillis (Hollis) Young of Alabama was killed.
Young was driving on Northbound I- 81 in Wytheville last night around six, when his vehicle ran off the right side of the road, hit an embankment, and overturned.
Authorities say he was driving too fast for the road conditions.
The search for a missing Florida girl has NOT ended the way family members and police wanted it to--
The body of 11- year- old Carlie Brucia was found in a church parking lot, not far from where she was abducted.
A suspect is now charged with her murder.

General Motors is recalling almost two million cars.
Problems with the ignition switch have been reported in more than 80 incidents to cause heat build-up, as well as fires in the ignition system and steering column.
1998 through 2001 Chevrolet Cavaliers, and 1997 through 2001 Pontiac Sunfires are included in the recall.
Pontiac Grand Am, Oldsmobile Achieva, and Buick Skylark cars built between 1997 and 1998 are also being recalled.
Meanwhile, G-M says no injuries or deaths have been reported.

Russian President Vladimir Putin says his country will NOT negotiate with terrorists.
His statement on Russian television comes hours after a deadly explosion during the morning rush hour today on a Moscow subway.
Nearly 40 people were killed--more than 120 others were hurt.
Authorities are investigating the blast as a terrorist attack.
The Kremlin's press service says President Bush called President Putin today to offer his condolences.
Both leaders reportedly also re- affirmed their vow to boost efforts against terrorism.
Democratic Presidential front-runner John Kerry's campaign got another shot in the arm today.
This morning in Michigan former campaign rival, Dick Gephardt announced he's endorsing Kerry.

One of his main focuses was jobs and how NAFTA has effected this country.

30- year- old professional snowboarder Tara Dakides (da-KEE-dehs) veered off a ramp outside the show's New York studio, falling 25 feet to the ground.
She landed on her back, and was taken to a hospital where she's now in stable condition.
Tara's mother says she won't let the accident keep her down for long.

Heavyweight boxing champion Lennox Lewis has decided to retire rather than face a rematch with Vitali (VIH'-tah-lee) Klitschko (Clitch- KO).
Lewis becomes the first active world heavyweight champion to quit in nearly 50 years.
The 38-year-old fighter confirmed at a packed London news conference that he was leaving the sport after a 14-year career.
After months of deliberation, Lewis decided to retire rather than defend his World Boxing Council title in the rematch.
Lewis leaves with a 41-TWO-and-2 record, and is the first reigning world heavyweight champion to quit since Rocky Marciano in 1956.

((Trent Strickland is a sophomore guard for the Demon Deacons and Hassan Fofana is a freshman center for Maryland. Both are Hargrave products. One of the 14, 407 fans attending the Terps/ Deacs game one week ago was Hargrave coach Kevin Keatts.
Keatts had a chance to visit with his former pupils, who say Keatts and Hargrave catapulted their careers.
Hargrave has produced three NBA players including former Wake Forest star Josh Howard, now a rookie with the Dallas Mavericks.

The Roanoke Express lost to South Carolina 3-to-2 in a shootout last night.
Jason Wolfe was in net because goalie David Belitski
was called up yesterday afternoon to the AHL's Toronto Roadrunners.
The 26 year old Ontario native skated in 26 games with the Express this season, compiling a record of 12, 9, and 4.
He had a save percentage of nearly 92 percent.
Dan Carlson scored one goal last night, but the Express was 0-for-3 on the power play.
