Last night's icy conditions contributed to a fatal accident in Wythe County.
Authorities say 51- year- old George Hoillis (Hollis) Young of Alabama was killed.
Young was driving on Northbound I- 81 in Wytheville last night around six, when his vehicle ran off the right side of the road, hit an embankment, and overturned.
Authorities say he was driving too fast for the road conditions.

General Motors is recalling almost two million cars.
Problems with the ignition switch have been reported in more than 80 incidents to cause heat build-up, as well as fires in the ignition system and steering column.
1998 through 2001 Chevrolet Cavaliers, and 1997 through 2001 Pontiac Sunfires are included in the recall.
Pontiac Grand Am, Oldsmobile Achieva, and Buick Skylark cars built between 1997 and 1998 are also being recalled.
Meanwhile, G-M says no injuries or deaths have been reported.
