A man is dead tonight after crashing his car into a home in Roanoke.

Police say 40 year old Jonathan Wayne Roberts was travelling on Noble Avenue, when his car crossed Lane Street and hit the deck of this home. He was taken to Roanoke Memorial Hospital where he later died. Police are still investigating the cause of the accident and Roberts' subsequent death.

Another accident- this one in Montgomery county this morning killed a man and sent two other to the hospital. Police say 66 year old Bernard Feldman of Floyd County was driving north on Route 615 when he crossed the center line and hit a pick-up truck head on. Feldman was not wearing a seatbelt and was killed. An eight- year old passenger in Feldman's vehicle and the driver of the pickup-- 68 year old William E. Mills of Pilot-- were taken to Montgomery Regional Hospital.
Their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

A man wanted for questioning in a Tennessee murder case has turned up in Roanoke.
Today, Police moved in and made an arrest as the suspect was leaving his room at a local motel.

Roanoke Police received a tip from Tennessee authorities that 50- year- old Gerald David Thomas might be in the area.
Last night, they found the car he was driving in the parking lot of the Ramada Inn on Franklin Road. After staking out the motel for 12 hours they took him into custody.
Carilion employees who work nearby were told to stay home until the incident was over.

Two years ago, eight music distributors and retailers agreed to settle a lawsuit alleging the companies conspired to inflate the price of C-D's.
Tomorrow, the attorney general's office will start mailing checks for 13-dollars and 86-cents to Virginians who filed claims.
The companies will also give nearly two million dollars worth of C-D's to Virginia libraries, schools, shelters and public radio stations.

The testimony is perhaps the most damaging against Stewart who has told investigators she had no memory of being tipped about the stock's imminent plunge in value.

Brookville's Brian Viar will take the pass down low and he will square up and knock in the tough baseline three pointer for the Bees. Amherst could have Kentrell Toliver would then hollar back with a pass inside to Dillon Baker. And he will score to keep things tight. Brookville comes right back, though, as Viar finds Ben Heldreth for the three pointer as the Bees continue to hit from the outside.
