A jury is deciding if a former Giles County minister is guilty of molesting several children. 53 year old Roger Holcomb faces four counts of aggravated sexual battery and two counts of taking indecent liberties with a child.

A body of an Amherst County woman has been found inside a car submerged in an Amherst County lake.

The car was spotted in Otter Creek Lake near the Blue Ridge Parkway around 10:30.
It took authorities more than four hours to secure the vehicle and pull it from the lake.
The red Dodge Dakota belonged to 47-year-old Caroline Farmer of Madison Heights.
Her husband had reported her missing around 11 last night and spotted her car this morning.
Authorities say there's no apparent sign of foul play.
Her body will be taken to the medical examiner's office in Roanoke for autopsy.

Around 9:20 this morning, police say a white male entered the Wachovia bank and handed the teller a note demanding money and saying that he had a gun.
Police say the male is about five-foot six-inches, wearing a dark sweatsuit, sunglasses, and a hat, along with a band-aid on his nose. No information on his vehicle is known.
