There's a new battle being waged over the civil war.
At issue is whether Virginia localities should declare April as Confederate History and Heritage Month.

On one side you have the Sons of Confederate Veterans who say this is about recognizing Virginia's history.

A bobcat is now being tested for rabies after it attacks a woman inside her Narrows home.
Police say the woman was in her basement this afternoon when the animal jumped on her back and bit her.
She was able to get away and call police.

NC State's Herb Sendek has been named the top coach in the league by the ACC Sports Media Association.
Sendek led the Wolfpack to a solid second place finish in the league and easily outdistanced Ga. Tech Paul Hewitt for the award.
Tomorrow - his star player Julius Hodge may end up being the player of the year.

The Roanoke men's lacrosse team, ranked 11th in the nation, improved to 4 and 1 on the season today with a win over Dickinson College.

Dan Reed then finds Jeff Pattison who cranks the shot past the Dickinson goalie.
Maroons goalie Matt Madalon shut the door in the fourth quarter with several huge saves, Roanoke wins 10-7.

The 21 foot tall, 7-thousand dollar jungle gym was built by his grandfather.

Neighbors however do not agree.
17 of 22 neighbors signed a petition to remove the jungle gym, and the city of Manchester Missouri agreed.
It ruled the playset violates city codes which prohibit accesory structures taller than a house.
The Pruitt's were ordered to remove seven feet from the top to make it level with their home.
Now the family is selling the house and moving out of Manchester.
