A Utah woman accused of murdering one of her twins by refusing a life-saving Caesarean section has pleaded guilty to two counts of child endangerment.
Prosecutors initially charged Melissa Ann Rowland with murder.
The murder charge was dropped, under a plea bargain.
Rowland could serve up to five years in prison on each count, and pay as much as a five-thousand-dollar fine.

It looked as though the cars simply tipped over... Two passengers
reported seeing a cloud of dust before it happened... but most of those
onboard only FELT something was wrong.

OVER, IT THREW TWO OLD LADIES ON TOP OF US."
Amtrak's Train 58 landed on its side, falling five feet from a trestle,
into a swampy stretch of the mississippi delta. Ambulances couldn't get
there... rescuers used off-road vehicles and flashlights to search for
passengers.
68 people were on board the northbound train... and most of them were
hurt. Many of the injured were treated on the tracks... or taken by bus
to area hospitals. A 68-year old woman from Chicago died on the scene.
The nine-car train was headed from new orleans to chicago, and had just
crossed a river outside Jackson Mississippi when it jumped the tracks.

Salem high school's search for a new head football coach is over.
After the names of veteran coaches Billy Miles and Jeff Highfill were bantered around the valley for weeks, the relatively young Hidden Valley coach Steve Magenbauer, a Salem native, was tapped to replace the retiring Willis White.

A North Carolina horse owner is seeing DOUBLE after a mare gave birth to twin foals.

Martin White named the twins Cocoa and Cream.
The multiple birth came as a surprise.
White says an ultrasound showed only one foal.
Multiple births are very rare in horses-- happening only once in ten thousand births.
Of those, 80- percent usually end in the death of one or both foals.
But so far, Cocoa and Cream appear to be, well, "healthy as a horse."
